The Free Speech Union is hosting a comedy special in association with Comedy Unleashed at the Backyard Comedy Club in Bethnal Green on June 29th, starting at 7.30pm. The master of ceremonies will be Dominic Frisby, who’ll be performing with his band The Gilets Jaunes. Also on the bill during this night of musical comedy will be Frank Sanazi, Dean Stalin, Spliff Richard and Tom Mones.
This event is a fundraiser for the FSU, so it’s open to non-members as well as members. There will be a raffle with fabulous prizes as well as an opportunity to buy FSU merchandise, usually only available to members. The FSU’s staff will be at the event, including me, so if you do come along please introduce yourself. I’ll be propping up the bar throughout.
